An elusive, gentle aroma can be added to your clothing or bed linens in a number of ways. When washing by hand add 1 – 2 drops of your blend to the final rinse water and when washing by machine add 3 – 5 drops to the final rinse. Avoid using thick, heavy resinous essential oils such as frankincense and myrrh when using these methods. You can also add about 6 drops of an essential oil or a special blend of essential oils to blotting paper as in the Aromatic Wedding Invitations and put these in your cupboard drawers. Or use a hydrosol of Orange Blossom, Rose or Lavender instead and mist the sheets and pillows before retiring.
